How a Image Blank is Created for a Handmade Pen at WhataPen

Here are the steps I use when I am making the image blanks for my handmade pens.  First it gets turned, then wet sanded and finally polished.  Then the assembly process begins.  Now what I don't show is how to actually create the blank, that is more of a proprietary process.

First is the turning of the image blank on the lathe.
